Happy Day 5....my bike

It's been awhile sense I went on a good ride because of injuries but tonight I got to and loved it!!!!

Happy Day 5.....Baby Steps to Returning to Running

It all started with a Hernia Surgery 5 years ago this December. Which sticking with true Kendra fashion as soon as I was given the green light after my surgery I returned to my life of:
Running
Skiing
Soccer
Hiking
Swimming
Biking
You name it

Then it all led to tendonosis. (Life tip here my friends if it hurts rest it!!) Yes my groin tendon has hurt for years and I ignored bad move.

So after a cortison shot and and MRI I started....

Physical therapy. I was able to keep running.

And I got this...

A stress fracture.
And this...

a walking boot.

Almost a two weeks ago I had another cortison shot to insure the tendon as much healing as possible before I try and return to running.
I iced and rested up again.
Slowly I returned to biking.
I have slowly been working my way out of my boot.

Today I braved it and took the boot to work but did not wear it!!

Well my leg felt great!

So today I....

Went for a WALK!!!

In a few weeks it will be time to start this again!!

Wishfully Thinking

Reading friends blogs and playing with Daxton tends to land me in wishful thinking at times.

These time I feel like recording baby names I would love to use one day: (PS my future husband will have little say, I have my defense all ready prepared for that day)

Devon (I get it a boy name but I love it for girls)
Eliot (another boy name, dont ask but I like them)

Wilford* (call him Will)

I really want to carry on my heritage of being a Wilford Woodruff descendant and to keep a promise to my mom to somehow pass on the name. I would love my boys to have the middle name Woodruff. Unless my cousin Rylee has another kid and boy that is...the Woodruff name is officially dead in our family. With us Woodruff's by birth Matt and Rylee are the only boys, and well Matt is a Prince and Rylee has only girls.

*These names are family names that I love and are keeping promises.

Like I said wishful thinking but if I have 9 kids they are named. Ok my kids are all already names, unless I find a new name I love. Sorry future hubby you just dont get a say. However, our future daughters need some middle names :)

Happy Day 4....The Temple

So I missed a few days but hey Im not good at this blogging stuff.

Its been awhile (way to long to be honest) sense I went to the temple. I went Saturday morning. I simply did initatories this week. However, when I left my spirits felt so much uplifted!!! Even though no problems were solved I felt so much closer to my Heavenly Father and that much made the world of difference.

I am making it my goal to once a week!!! I figure it will take getting into a schedule but I can do it!! I just cant sleep in anymore.

Happy Day 2....The 2nd Instalment....Making People Smile

Tonight I went to Dylans to fulfill my Limericki addiction. Well I paid for at with all dimes. Any how the cashier just laughed which made me laugh and smile inside. It turned all my frowns for the day upside down into smiles. I think I found a solution to my bad mood....making other people smile.

Today my customer gave me these pretty flowers and yummy chocolate to thank me for helping her get a job.
