Happy 4th

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. There are 5 days in the year that I look forward to so much every year that the days approaching it seem to drag on and on. I think that I am worse then a little kid. Ask my family about Christmas and they will agree. If you where wondering here is my list of days (and in order):

- Christmas/Christmas Eve

-My Birthday

- The Fourth

- Thanks Giving

- Halloween

I love the 4th for a few reasons. First being what it represents. I love to wake up each fourth knowing that thanks to the sacrifices of our forfathers and others we are free to live the life we choose. We are free to make the best of ourselves. To choose our own religion, career, etc. I love knowing that. I love knowing that we also live free from fear. And second I love all the fun traditions. Ha thats the key if your where wondering I love any holiday or day with family traditions tied to it.

Ever sense I started running in High School I have run in the Kaysville City Rotary 4th of July 5/10k race. I have always run the 5k but this year I thought whey not do the 10k. Its a normal workout for me any ways. I got 5th in my age group and 18th over all in womens. I was a little sad but I did PR. My time was 52 min and 42 sec.
Here are some picture my parents took.
