Laudry Laundry, and One Never Ending Cold....

Before you read this blog entry you must promise not to get grossed out.

So why has Kendra not updated her blog. Thats simple... I feel like my life has been consumed with trying to rid my body of bugs. Yep you heard that right.

To start off with I have been fighting a nasty cold, or something. It started a month ago. After a round of antibiotics it has come back. The Doc seems to think it something with my sinuses. So come Monday morning I will have a pretty CT picture of my sinuses. Lets hope we can find a good solution...and a surgery free one.

Now to the real bug problem. From my fun babysitting adventures I managed to pick up scabies. No worries I cant pass them on to you. But the fun has been in skin treaments weekly followed by washing all my bedding. Washing all my clothes, etc. Shot me now. My neighbors caught them from a hotel.

Here is some hints for traveling...

- Check the beds, you cant see skin mights but you can see signs of bed bugs
- Wash all your clothes strait from taking them out of the suit case, dont put even clean ones away into your dresser
- Never sleep with the comforter at hotels, they dont get washed every time
- Never leave your clothes out on the floor or beds at hotels
- Keep your suitcase off of the floor and beds, if thats not possible put them on plastic
- I would suggest packing your clothes in space saver or zip lock bags
- Always keep your suitcase zipped
- And if your really anal, which I think I might become, bring your own fitted sheets

Trust me these simple steps are so much easier then loads of laundry, itchy rashes, etc.

Remember I told you not to be grossed out.

Oh so I have been up to some fun. I saw a great movie last weekend called "Taken." Plus my calling is going great. Its a lot of work but worth it. I hope the blessing I recieved while being set apart comes true. Cause this calling is a lot of work the promised pay back of progessing towards marriage would so be worth it.

PS. FHE is a lot of work but worth the effort and time. Even if you can not do it on Monday set some family time aside each week. And Sundays dont count. Even if you dont have kids yet still do it. The time set aside for gosple learning and some family bonding are worth it.
